Project description:
Yellowtail is a project in the Oil & Gas field concerning the extraction of offshore natural gas. In particular, Biagiotti has manufactured Filterhouses to customer specifications (Parker GTF), used for the filtration of the air in order to power the gas turbines serving the offshore plant.
Challenge:
The Biagiotti company was responsible for the fabrication of 8 filter houses with structure, frames and main parts completely in 316L Stainless steel. The supply also included installation of commercial accessories, in order to deliver a complete and tested product to the customer. The order has required a six-monthly use of a dedicated team for the project management of the various departments involved, client inspections and management of the production cycle. Highly specialized operators were employed, with the aim of providing a finished product, from the initial industrialization in the UT to the final packaging.
