Project description:

The most comfortable way to move around Pisa. It is a model of urban mobility which, by means of an ecological and totally automated shuttle train, connects Pisa Centrale railway station and Galileo Galilei airport.

Challenge:

Biagiotti was responsible for transforming the customer’s design ideas and developing them through its own engineering. In particular, he created the walkways and balustrades along the 2 km of track connecting the airport station to the Pisa railway station. It then participated in the construction of all the stairs of the new buildings, as well as the roofing works, and finally, of the entire viaduct. The assembly of the carpentry involved a workforce of 15 to 20 people for more than a year.
